Steve's Story - Faulty Heater Creates Carbon Monoxide Danger

Your Nighthawk CO Detector/Alarm saved my family's lives this morning, so I wanted to let you know and send a note of thanks. I am a Professional Occupational Safety Specialist, so I am well aware of the hazards of CO. Early this morning (about 3am), our home heating system went sour and began burning the gas improperly. Your detector went off with a peak reading of 289ppm - certainly a hazardous concentration with continued exposure for more than a short time. The heater was definitely the cause of the CO, yet none of my family members even had symptoms because of the quick response of the detector and alarm. I am installing a new one right away and am telling everyone I know to do the same. Thanks again for making such a reliable and low-cost product to save people's lives.
