The Kidde Interconnectable Optical Smoke Alarm with Rechargeable Battery is a mains-powered optical smoke detector with a sealed rechargeable lithium battery. You don’t need to replace the battery during the alarm’s lifespan.
Part of our Firex range, you can link this product with up to 23 other Kidde mains powered alarms. If one alarm is activated, all other connected alarms will sound. This product is suitable for most locations within your home, except in the kitchen, where we recommend a Firex Heat Alarm.
This mains-powered unit requires installation by a qualified electrician and complies with UK Building Regulations for new housing and associated standards (Grade D1 BS 5839, Part 6).
